Applications for Core Membership Are Not Yet Open
Thank you for your interest in applying for a Core Member position in the Emory Artificial Intelligence and Data Association (EAIDA). Please read the following instructions carefully before completing the application form:
- Role Expectations:
- Core Members play a critical role in advancing the organization’s goals and supporting its operations. Applicants should be ready to take on leadership responsibilities specific to their chosen department.
- The available positions include:
- Academic and Career Advancement (ACAD) Departmental Officer
- Ethics and Social Impact (ESID) Departmental Officer
- External Relations and Partnerships (ERPD) Departmental Officer
- Finance and Risk Management (FRMD) Departmental Officer
- Brand and Publicity Specialist (Member of the Departmental Officers)
- Secretary General (Member of the Executive Board)
- Please familiarize yourself with the responsibilities of each position as outlined in the EAIDA Constitution and ensure your skills align with the position's focus areas.
- Application Process:
- Applicants must complete this questionnaire, providing accurate and detailed responses. All required fields must be filled in to proceed to the next stage.
- As part of the application, you will:
- Indicate your first and second position preferences. (Note: Preferences must be distinct.)
- Briefly describe your relevant skills and experiences for the position (optional but recommended).
- Share your vision and ideas for the future development of the organization as a founding member (optional but recommended).
- Additional Materials:
- You may upload a resume to support your application. This step is optional, and not submitting a resume will not negatively impact your application.
- Selection Criteria:
- Applications will be reviewed based on your demonstrated interest, relevant skills, and alignment with EAIDA’s mission and departmental goals.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview conducted by at least two Executive Board members. The interview is a critical part of the selection process and will help determine your suitability for the role.
- Application Deadline:
- Please ensure you submit your completed application by February 7. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Transparency and Fairness:
- EAIDA is committed to an open and transparent selection process. All applications and interviews will be documented to ensure fairness.
- The selection process into the interview is anonymous in nature. This means that we do not see the name of your questionnaire in the process of determining whether or not to allow you to proceed to the interview stage.
