Every year in September and October, we announce recruitment for departmental officers across all our social media platforms. After serving as a departmental officer for one year, you will have the opportunity to participate in a transparent election process in May to become an Executive Board member. For more details, please refer to the organization's constitution.

Thank you for your interest in applying for an Executive Board position with the Emory Artificial Intelligence and Data Association (EAIDA). Please read the following application guidelines carefully before completing the form:
Eligibility Requirements
- Current Leadership Role:
- Applicants must currently serve as a Departmental Officer within EAIDA. Only individuals with demonstrated leadership experience in EAIDA are eligible to apply for Executive Board positions.
- Commitment to Mission:
- Candidates must align with EAIDA’s mission to promote innovation, academic exploration, and ethical development in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science.
Available Positions
The following Executive Board positions are open for application:
- President
- Vice President of Academic and Career Advancement
- Vice President of Ethics and Social Impact
- Vice President of External Relations and Partnerships
- Vice President of Finance and Risk Management
- Secretary General
You may select both a first and second choice for the positions you are applying for. Note that the first and second choices cannot be the same.
Application Process
- Complete the Questionnaire:
- Provide responses to all required fields, including:
- Your current departmental role.
- First and second choice positions for the Executive Board.
- A brief summary of your previous leadership experience within EAIDA.
- Your vision for EAIDA’s future and your top priority as an Executive Board member.
- Optional Questions:
- You may upload a resume or describe how you will balance Executive Board responsibilities with academic and personal commitments. These questions are optional and will not affect your application.
